Watchmaker's tools and movement

What We Do

Three Services, Each Tailored to the Piece in Front of Us

From a routine service that restores reliable timekeeping, to a careful restoration of a watch with history behind it — we scope each service to what the piece genuinely needs.

Our Methodology

How We Approach Every Watch

Every watch that arrives at our bench begins with the same starting point: we look at it properly before we do anything. This means opening the case, observing the movement, and making notes — condition of parts, rate on a timing machine, visible wear or damage. We do not assume we know what a watch needs until we have seen inside it.

Once that assessment is complete, we prepare a written summary and share it with you. From there, the service proceeds at a pace set by the complexity of the work, not by an artificial deadline. We believe that rushed watchwork has consequences that reveal themselves months later, often in more expensive repairs.

All lubricants are applied to manufacturer-specified grades for each component type. Movement parts are cleaned ultrasonically. Rate testing follows reassembly, across multiple positions. These are not differentiating features — they are what correct watchwork looks like.

Movement regulation service

Service One

Service & Accuracy Adjustment

A measured service for watches running outside comfortable accuracy, where the movement is cleaned, lubricated, and finely regulated across several positions. Suited to owners who notice their watch drifting and would like dependable timekeeping restored. We record the rate before and after so the improvement is clear, explain our findings simply, and provide a service warranty once the work is done. Turnaround is generally a few weeks, depending on the inspection.

  • Full disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning
  • Lubrication to movement-specific grades
  • Multi-position regulation on timing machine
  • Written rate report before and after
  • Service warranty on regulated work

Process Steps

  1. 1Watch received and initial rate measured
  2. 2Movement disassembled, parts cleaned ultrasonically
  3. 3Lubricated to specification and reassembled
  4. 4Regulated across five positions, post-service rate recorded
  5. 5Service record issued, watch returned

Starting Price

฿4,600

Turnaround: approx. 2–4 weeks

Crystal and crown renewal

Service Two

Crystal, Crown & Seal Renewal

A focused repair addressing the parts most exposed to daily life: scratched crystals, worn crowns and stems, and tired gaskets. We fit a suitable crystal, restore smooth winding and setting, and reseal the case before testing resistance where appropriate. A sensible choice for owners who want their watch to feel sound again without a full overhaul. We always confirm parts and costs with the owner before proceeding, keeping every decision in their hands.

  • Crystal assessment and replacement (mineral or sapphire)
  • Crown and stem inspection, replacement where needed
  • All gaskets renewed, case resealed
  • Dry pressure test where case design supports it
  • Parts and cost confirmed before work begins

Process Steps

  1. 1Case and crown examined, crystal damage assessed
  2. 2Parts sourced and cost confirmed with owner
  3. 3Crystal fitted, crown and stem replaced or cleaned
  4. 4Case resealed with new gaskets, pressure tested
  5. 5Watch returned with service notes

Starting Price

฿7,800

Turnaround: approx. 1–2 weeks

Heritage watch restoration

Service Three

Heritage Watch Restoration

A careful, in-depth restoration for inherited and collectible watches, blending conservation with sympathetic repair. The work may include attending to movement wear, conserving an original dial, sourcing period-correct parts, and returning the watch to dependable use while honouring its age. Recommended for family pieces and historically interesting watches. Each restoration opens with an honest assessment and a written plan agreed together, so there are no surprises along the way, and proceeds at a careful pace.

  • Thorough inspection and written restoration proposal
  • Movement service with attention to worn parts
  • Dial and hands conserved where possible rather than replaced
  • Period-correct parts sourced from specialist suppliers
  • Complete service record and restoration notes provided

Process Steps

  1. 1Detailed inspection over several days; findings documented
  2. 2Written restoration plan shared and agreed with owner
  3. 3Movement disassembled, cleaned, worn parts addressed
  4. 4Dial and case conserved; period parts fitted where needed
  5. 5Regulated, tested, and returned with full documentation

Starting Price

from ฿15,000

Turnaround: 4–12 weeks depending on scope

Shared Across All Services

Professional Standards We Apply

Client Consent Protocol

No work begins or changes scope without the owner's written confirmation. We treat the piece as a guest, not a job.

Correct Lubrication Standards

We follow movement-specific lubrication charts. Each watch calibre has different needs at the pallet fork, mainspring, and stem — and we address them separately.

Electronic Timing Standards

We use a timing machine to measure rate deviation objectively. Our target for most movements is within ±15 seconds per day; better-quality calibres can be regulated tighter.

Documentation at Every Stage

Assessment notes, rate readings, parts used, and any unusual observations are recorded. You receive copies. Future owners or insurers benefit from this record too.

Post-Service Warranty

Completed regulated work is covered by a service warranty. If rate performance falls outside the agreed range within the warranty period, we attend to it.

Water Resistance Integrity

When a case is opened and resealed, we conduct a dry pressure test where feasible. We report the result and note any limitations of the case design.
